The 2025 Mercedes-Benz EQS Sedan receives enhanced battery capacity and updated design features

For 2025, the Mercedes-Benz EQS Sedan line is receiving a few changes. This includes updates to styling, new features, and increased battery capacity across all trims.

Now, all EQS trims will have 118 kWh of battery capacity, which is 10 kWh more than last year. While this could potentially increase the range, Mercedes has not disclosed specific numbers.

The most noticeable changes are in the styling department. The front end now features thin, chrome, horizontal slats on the gloss black grille panel, giving it a more traditional Mercedes look. Additionally, the hood now sports an upright Mercedes star ornament, and the AMG Line bumper is now standard.

Inside, Mercedes has added chrome accents to the B-pillar rear air vents and upgraded the standard rear seats with reclining capability and additional foam padding. The Pinnacle Trim with Executive Interior Package offers even more luxurious features, such as reclining rear seats with heating and lumbar adjustment, a front passenger seat that can be moved forward for extra space, and ambient lighting on the front seat backs for a more upscale rear cabin experience.

Despite these updates, the overall EQS Sedan remains largely unchanged. This is not necessarily a bad thing, as the car continues to stand out as a luxurious and technologically advanced option in its segment.
