2024 Chevy Silverado EV RST receives extended range of 440 miles and reduced price

The upcoming 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV RST is set to hit the market soon, and GM has shared some updated details with us ahead of the mid-2024 deliveries.

Now, an official range estimate is available, and it exceeds Chevy’s initial promise. The RST is now rated for 440 miles on a full charge, surpassing the original estimate of 400 miles. This makes it the second-highest range among Silverado EV models, only behind the 4WT model which offers 450 miles. Notably, the 4WT sacrifices luxury and comfort for a slightly higher range. In comparison to competitors like the Ford F-150 Lightning, Tesla Cybertruck, and Rivian R1T, the Silverado EV stands out as the range leader.

Today, the starting price for the First-Edition RST model has been revealed. This fully-loaded version will start at $96,495, inclusive of the $1,995 destination charge. This price is $10,000 lower than Chevy’s initial claim, although the price of the Work Truck model jumped from $39,900 to $77,905 at launch. The EV market prices have been fluctuating lately.
